When you download and use the Twimio mobile application, we don’t require you to provide personal information to use basic functionality. However, if you choose to use features such as creating and sharing contact cards or QR codes, you may voluntarily provide information like your name, phone number, email, and address. This information is used solely for generating QR codes and contact cards within the app and is stored locally on your device.
We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13.
If you contact us by email, we may store your email in order to respond to your requests or questions. We will use the email address only to the extent required to respond to you, and for no other purpose.
We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with our Services. Twimio automatically receives and records information on our server logs, including your IP address and the page you requested. Generally, our service automatically collects usage information, such as the numbers and frequency of visitors to our Services and its components, similar to TV ratings that indicate how many people watched a particular show. Twimio only uses this data in aggregate form, that is, as a statistical measure, and not in a manner that would identify you personally. 3. User-Generated Content and Responsibility
Users are solely responsible for the information they include in their QR codes, contact cards, or any other content they create using the Twimio app. Twimio does not monitor or moderate user-generated content and disclaims any responsibility for the accuracy, legality, or consequences of such content. If a user creates QR codes or cards that contain harmful, fraudulent, or misleading information, the responsibility lies entirely with the user.
